I made blackberry pie for Father’s Day so easy and good!

Easy family recipe I have been using forever!
Recipe by Catherine Rex

Ingredients
2 Marie Calendar crusts (They come in a pack of 2 at my local market.  This crust taste great and saves you the hassle of having to make your own J )
5 cups of fresh or frozen Blackberries or Boysenberries (Boysenberries are my favorite)
1 cup sugar (Boysenberries tend to be sweeter so you may be able to use less sugar with them)
½ a lemon juiced
Lemon zest ( ½  a lemon)
1/4 a cup of tapioca
butter
Method
1)   Mix blackberries, sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, and tapioca in a bowl.
2)   Put mixed berries into the bottom piecrust and add some dabs of butter around the top of the berries. Then add on the top piecrust, pinch the edge with your thumb and forefinger, and cut some slits in the top crust. (You can get creative with the slits if you want stars are always fun, but plane slits made with a knife will work too)
3)   Bake the pie in the oven at 325˚ F for about an hour or until the crust looks golden. (If it seems to be cooking too slow raise the temperature to 350 ˚ F)
